Juan Montelpare

Artista de la ciudad de Valcheta, Río Negro, Patagonia Argentina. Estudió artes visuales en Argentina y Cuba. Realizó acciones en diferentes medios y disciplinas artísticas centrados en el espacio público y el paisaje a partir de la presencia o ausencia del cuerpo. Curador y director de encuentros y muestras latinoamericanas e internacionales de performance y land art. Actualmente dirige la Bienal Internacional de Arte de Río Negro y es Director de Museos, Arte y Comunidad de la Secretaria de Cultura de Río Negro. Posee publicados textos de performance en espacios de arte de Latinoamérica y Europa.

Artist from the city of Valcheta, Río Negro, Patagonia Argentina. He studied visual arts in Argentina and Cuba. He realized actions in different media and artistic disciplines focused on public space and the landscape based on the presence or absence of the body. He is the curator and director of Latin American and international meetings and exhibitions of performance and land art. He currently directs the Río Negro International Art Biennial and is Director of Museums, Art and Community of the Río Negro Culture Secretariat. He has published performance texts in art spaces in Latin America and Europe.
