Emmanuel Borao

Vive en Junín, Buenos Aires, donde trabaja como fotógrafo y se desempeña como docente en la Escuela de Arte Xul Solar de Junín, en la Universidad Nacional del Noroeste UNNOBA y en la Escuela de Educación Artística Víctor Grippo. Estudió Comunicación Audiovisual en la Facultad de Bellas Artes, UNLP. Se formó como Técnico Superior en Fotografía (2012) y Fotógrafo Profesional (2017) en la Escuela de Arte Xul Solar de Junín. Realizó el Tramo de Formación Pedagógica para Técnicos y Profesionales en el ISFD N°133. Realizó talleres de Estética Fotográfica con Daniel Muchiut, de Edición y Construcción de Narrativas Visuales con Claudi Carreras Guillén, Clínica de Obra con Eduardo Stupia, Taller de Fotolibros con Martin Estol y Seminario de Foto Libros con Verónica Fieiras. En 2017 fue becado para participar del programa de formación Proyecto Imaginario Interior, un ciclo anual de formación para fotógrafos y artistas que trabajan con la fotografía. Su obra ha sido expuesta en Argentina, Uruguay, México y España. Seleccionada para participar en salones y convocatorias fotográficas, entre los que se destacan: Ganador del llamado Autor Latinoamericano 2016 para exponer en del [CdF] Centro de Fotografía de Montevideo, Uruguay. Photogenic Festival 2016, Barcelona. He lives in Junín, Buenos Aires, where he works as a photographer and teaches at the Xul Solar Art School, at the National University of the Northwest UNNOBA and at the Víctor Grippo School of Artistic Education. He studied Audiovisual Communication at the Faculty of Fine Arts, UNLP. He trained as a Higher Technician in Photography (2012) and Professional Photographer (2017) at the Xul Solar Art School in Junín. He completed the Pedagogical Training Section for Technicians and Professionals at the ISFD No. 133. He carried out workshops on Photographic Aesthetics with Daniel Muchiut, on Editing and Construction of Visual Narratives with Claudi Carreras Guillén, Work Clinic with Eduardo Stupia, Photobook Workshop with Martin Estol and Photo Book Seminar with Verónica Fieiras. In 2017 he was awarded a scholarship to participate in the Proyecto Imaginario Interior training program, an annual training cycle for photographers and artists who work with photography. His work has been exhibited in Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico and Spain. Selected to participate in salons and photography calls, among which the following stand out: Winner of the so-called Latin American Author 2016 to exhibit at the [CdF] Center of Photography of Montevideo, Uruguay.
