Claudia del Río

(Rosario, 1957) Es artista visual, educadora, poeta y curadora. Vive y trabaja en Rosario. Licenciada en Bellas Artes por la UNR, donde da clases. En 2002 cofundó Club del Dibujo, un espacio de pensamiento y acción y, desde 2006, el proyecto Pieza Pizarrón (Lehrstücke), dispositivo de dibujo, teatro y pedagogía, proyecto que continúa. Representante argentina en diferentes Bienales y Residencias internacionales. Sus obras se encuentran en colecciones públicas y privadas del país y del extranjero. Tutora en los Programas de Formación y Clínica para  Fundación Antorchas y FNA. En 2021 fue nombrada Académica Delegada en la Provincia de Santa Fe por la Academia Nacional de Bellas Artes. En 2022 recibió el Premio Konex en Dibujo y el Premio Nacional a la Trayectoria Artística. Publicó los libros Pieza Pizarrón (Club del Dibujo, 2013),  Ikebana política (Ivan Rosado, 2016), Ikebana política. Notas, poemas y ejercicios 2005-2015 (Peter Lang, UK, 2019), y Claroscuro latinoamericano (en Yulinda, W-Galería, con F. Lemus, 2022), entre otros.

In 2022 she received the Konex Prize in Drawing and the National Award for Artistic Career.
